Reliable availability in daily operations: a look back at the EPHJ high-precision trade fair in Geneva
In mid-June, we attended EPHJ in Geneva, the key industry meeting point for the watchmaking, jewellery and microtechnology sectors. It is precisely the kind of environment where precision and efficient processes set the pace.Once again this year, our stand attracted a great deal of interest. Numerous visitors, many valuable conversations and one recurring question at the heart of it all: how can I make sure the right tool is available exactly when it is needed, without overstocking or wasting time searching for it?
This is where our ToolBox, our automated inventory management system, took centre stage. The principle is simple: each withdrawal is recorded directly with user identification, while replenishment is based on actual consumption rather than estimates. This keeps inventory lean while ensuring reliable availability.
Particularly in watchmaking and microtechnology, where every movement has to be precise, this makes a noticeable difference in day-to-day operations. The many conversations we had over the four days of the trade fair confirmed this once again.
